After a 14-year career as a microbiologist, Carrie decided to pursue a career that was more personally satisfying and rewarding. Carrie received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Intern. Prior to accepting her current position at Simple Path Recovery, Carrie worked with court-mandated youths with drug/alcohol issues. Carrie has also worked at private substance abuse treatment centers with the adult population. Carrie loves being able to facilitate positive change in her clients' lives and feels lucky to work in a profession she loves. A focus of Carrie's treatment protocol is to make sure her clients feel understood and safe in a non-judgmental environment.
