StarrLee is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who began her career in mental health in 1985 with the University of Arizona & U.S. Navy NADSAP program. In that program, she provided substance abuse prevention and intervention services. Since that time her practice has included addictions and a full range of services in private practice, traditional as well as Equine Assisted model programming. StarrLee Heady is also a certified riding instructor with the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) in both English and Western riding. She is a certified Instructor/Trainer with Richie Wingfield Horsemanship LLC. Her combination of horse experience, mental health & addictions training, and life experience, provide unique opportunities for facilitating personal growth and healing using equine assisted and interactive programs. She is a worldwide contract Trainer and Mentor for the EAGALA organization in addition to her work at PX Equine Enterprises Inc.
